Word processor — overview
The Word processor is your Word-like workspace directly on the web — no separate office suite needed. Letters, quote templates, notices, house rules, mandatory documents: write them in Agenda, export as PDF and they land automatically in the right project or employee folder.
What is it for?
- Letters and notices with the company logo and consistent layout.
- Templates for recurring letters (cancellation confirmations, dunning letters, receipts).
- Contracts and mandatory documents with placeholders that fill themselves (e.g. employee name, date, customer).
- Internal guidance — work instructions, safety notes, onboarding material.
What can you format?
- Text — headings, paragraphs, lists, bold, italic, underline.
- Images — logo, photos, diagrams.
- Tables — embedded into the flowing text (for more complex tables, use Tables).
- Header & footer — own running head and foot with logo, address, page number.
- Placeholders — e.g. {{customer}}, {{date}}, {{employee}} replaced with real values when generating.
How a document is created
- Open Word processor in the menu.
- Pick Blank document or an existing template.
- Write as in any editor. The toolbar inserts images, tables and lists.
- Optional: add placeholders that get filled in later.
- Click Export as PDF — the finished document is downloaded and can be printed, emailed or signed in the PDF Center.
Using templates
Frequently used letters should be saved as a template. Next time you open the template and only adjust recipient and date.
Templates for formal documents (letters, dunning letters, cancellations) can sit in shared folders — see Document search.
Who uses the word processor?
- Office / inside sales drafts letters to customers and suppliers.
- HR sends out confirmations, terminations, onboarding material.
- Management creates templates that other employees reuse.
Who needs which permission?
