Logging hours
Every hour booked in Agenda has the same shape: a start, an end, an optional break, and an optional note (field service, comment). The two figures that matter are target (what the contract expects) and actual (what was actually worked). The difference feeds flex time.
Clock in on mobile
In the drawer of your app, working time is always one tap away:
- Clock in — starts a running booking with the current timestamp.
- Break / resume — pauses the booking. Multiple breaks per day are supported.
- Clock out — closes the booking. Agenda computes the daily balance instantly.
The running timer appears live at the top — no refresh, no manual update.
Clock in on the web
The dashboard offers the same three actions — typically you don’t use this for clocking but for overview and corrections:
- Monthly journal table of all bookings
- Edit cells directly (a correction request is automatically created)
- Live view of all currently-working employees
Log a missing entry
You forgot to clock out? The most common error. Agenda has a dedicated tool for this: “Log missing hours”.
| Step | Where? |
|---|---|
| Pick date (default: yesterday) | Mobile + Web |
| Type in start and end | Mobile + Web |
| Break in minutes | Mobile + Web |
| Optional note | Mobile + Web |
| Quick action “Clock out yesterday at 17:00” | Mobile + Web |
| Submit | Mobile + Web |
The request goes to the responsible supervisor and appears in your journal after approval.
A live preview shows the effective working time (8h 30m) before submission so you don’t
miss typos.
What happens with the request?
- You submit — the request gets a timestamp and a unique ID.
- The supervisor sees it live in the dashboard, no refresh needed.
- Approval or rejection — a reason can optionally be attached.
- Booking — on approval, the entry lands in your journal and in the monthly balance. Flex time is updated automatically.
Until approved, you see the request in “My requests” with status Pending. You can withdraw it any time while it’s not yet decided.
Corrections to existing bookings
Mistakes happen. On the web you open the monthly journal and tap right into the cell to change. To its right an Änderungsübersicht (change overview) builds up, showing every edit before you submit — old value crossed out in red, new value in green.
You submit everything as one request — not ten individual ones. The supervisor approves in one action.
Field service & breaks
- Field service (Außendienst) is marked per booking and flows automatically into the “field service days” balance and the DATEV export.
- Breaks are tracked in minutes. Longer breaks can be split across 24-hour tours when labor law requires it.
- Travel time > 8h / > 24h is shown separately — relevant for expenses and overtime surcharges.
What you save
- No more double entry (clock and Excel).
- No month-end reconciliation “what did we have on day 18?”
- No argument “but I did clock in” — every timestamp is immutably logged.
- No call to HR “did you see my request yet?”.
