Logbook — create an entry

On the phone (recommended)

The mobile app is fastest because GPS and time are captured automatically.

1. Before the trip: open Logbook in the app and tap Start.
2. The system records location, time, and odometer reading (if you enter it or take a photo).
3. While driving — do nothing.
4. At the destination: Stop. Enter the end odometer reading and the purpose. Optionally link a customer and order.
5. Save — the entry is live.

On the web

For late entries (e.g. phone was off):

1. Open Logbook in the main menu.
2. New entry at the top right.
3. Date, start/end time, addresses, odometer readings.
4. Save. If the entry is more than 7 days after the trip, you get a warning — that weakens the legal acceptance.

Correcting an entry

Right after saving you can still edit freely. Once a month is closed, entries lock — corrections then go through the Correction booking flow, which records the old and new value with a reason. History stays auditable.

Tip

For repeat routes (e.g. main customer), store a favourite profile. Next time the entry fills in with a click.
