Tables — overview
Tables are a flexible, spreadsheet-like workspace built right into Agenda. You can create multiple tables per page, type in values and formulas, attach them to projects, save them as templates and export them as PDF.
What are tables for?
- On-site measurements and calculations — areas, quantities, times.
- Recurring lists — material orders, attendance overviews, inventory checklists.
- Quick calculations with formulas (sums, percentages, simple cell-to-cell formulas).
- Project documentation — attached to a project or order.
- PDF deliverable — tables can be exported as PDF directly and passed to the customer.
Who uses tables?
- Field staff and team leads capture measurements right on the job site.
- Estimators crunch numbers fast without leaving Agenda for Excel.
- Accounting keeps simple overviews that aren’t in the books.
- Management sees every table in a branch and can export it as PDF.
Key terms
- Table — a single table with columns, rows and cells.
- Header row / header column — the highlighted first row or column. Tables can have a top header, a left header, or both.
- Formula — a calculation in a cell that references other cells (e.g. “column B + column C in this row”).
- Template — a saved table structure you can reuse over and over. Templates are organised into folders.
- Project attachment — a table can be linked to a project or subproject so the link to the job site stays visible.
Mobile or web?
Tables exist in both worlds and stay in sync — a table created on the web is visible in the app immediately, and the other way around.
