Chat — overview

The Chat is the internal communication tool inside Agenda. It replaces scattered WhatsApp groups and private chats with a central place tied to your company’s employees, groups and permissions.

What is it for?

  • Quick conversations between employees without leaving Agenda.
  • Group chats for teams, branches or individual projects.
  • File sharing — site photos, PDFs, short voice messages.
  • Read receipts — see who has seen a message.
  • Secure and internal — messages never leave the company environment and aren’t stored in personal WhatsApp profiles.

Who uses the chat?

  • Employees message colleagues and teams.
  • Team leads coordinate shifts, assign tasks, clarify questions.
  • Management can broadcast company-wide announcements.

Key terms

  • Direct chat — one-to-one conversation with a colleague.
  • Group chat — multiple employees, often mirroring a group or branch.
  • Attachment — photo, PDF or voice note. Larger files show a preview link.
  • Read status — a check-mark next to a sent message: sent / delivered / read.
  • Mute — silence push notifications for a conversation without leaving it.
