Create a client

  1. Open Clients in the menu.
  2. Click New client.
  3. Fill in the master data.

Required fields

  • Company name — exactly as it should appear on your invoices.
  • Address — street, house number, postcode, city, country. This address ends up on invoices verbatim.
  • VAT-ID — mandatory for EU B2B (reverse charge).
  • Tax number — for domestic B2B customers.
  • Payment terms — default e.g. 14 days, can be overridden per order.
  • Default discount — applied automatically to quotes.
  • Language — the language the customer’s documents are written in.

After creating

  • The new client appears in the list.
  • You can immediately add contacts, orders, or quotes.
  • Addresses can be edited later — but past documents keep the address as it was at issue time (legal requirement).

Tip

Don’t use internal codes or abbreviations in the company name — that name lands on every official document. For internal notes, use the Note field.

Connection to Quick Invoice

Once the client is in place, field staff can use them right away:

  • When creating a Quick Invoice on a phone or tablet, this client appears in the picker and in the “Recent” quick-access row.
  • The email stored here pre-fills the recipient field when the field tech sends the invoice straight from the app — no retyping.
  • Address and VAT-ID appear on every Quick Invoice for this client.
